    Carolyn Nordheimer James is the Chief Executive Officer of the Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library. Carolyn has worked in public libraries in Montreal, Brampton, Niagara, and Whitchurch-Stouffville. Carolyn is passionate about libraries and their ability to change the lives of individuals and communities.

    Catherine has been a librarian for 25 years and has enjoyed matching people with the information they need, regardless of format. Print, dvd, ebook and now TEDx. Trying to decide which TED talk to recommend is as easy as that old question, which one book would you like to have if you were deserted on an island. However, Jarrett J. Krosoczka's "How a boy became an artist" caught my attention.

    Cathy is a member of the administrative team at Health For All, Family Medicine Teaching Unit. When she's not answering phone calls or making referrals to other physicians, you can find Cathy winning awards for her warm, welcoming smile, or raising young Family Medicine trainees, like they were her own.

    Iain Lovatt is a Stouffville resident, serial entrepreneur, family man & dreamer. In 2002, Iain joined the management team at Muskoka Woods as its Director of Marketing. Recently, Iain founded Myfirldtrips.ca and 1Billionhours.com. Iain's experience over the years has given him an in-depth understanding of youth culture, how to connect with youth and the power of the Internet.

    Jan is a Registered Nurse at Health for All. Her 38 year career includes work in palliative care, Burn/Plastics unit, then enjoyed a fulfilling 20 years in Family Maternity unit assisting Families through the birthing process. Current work in a Family Teaching Unit has broadened her horizons and introduced her to the world of TED Talks.

    Jenn is a family physician who is passionate about primary health care and global health. She watched a TEDtalk given by Hans Rosling on Poverty five years ago and has been hooked ever since! She loves watching TEDtalks as inspiration for new ideas and to be challenged into different ways of thinking.

    Julie is an entrepreneur who is passionate about technology, neuroscience and their intersection with the business world. She loves to explore ideas around incremental innovation through her work as the co-founder of Biz-Zone Internet Group Inc., a web-based software company, and its two niche sites, CanadaOne and StouffvilleConnects.com.

    Lori is employed at Health For All as an Administrative Team Member. She joined the TEDxStouffville committee because she really didn't know much about these talks, and was quite impressed. She was especially moved by Neil Pasricha's talk, "The 3 A's of Awesome".

    Marc is an IT consultant interested in the use of mobile technologies to improve health outcomes in low resource settings. As the Product Manager for Medic Mobile he has the opportunity to help create mHealth tools while working with an incredible team.
